Welcome to Fulton Lodge F & AM #248

Serving Free & Accepted Masons in and around Fulton County since 1854, our lodge is located in the heart of Delta, OH, and part of the Fabulous 5th District. We meet on the first Tuesday of every month at 7:30 pm. Freemasonry is the oldest, largest, and most widely recognized fraternal organization in the world. Thirteen signers of the Constitution and fourteen Presidents of the United States, including George Washington, were Freemasons. Today, there are more than 2 million Freemasons in North America alone, 75,000 of which are Ohio Freemasons.

The Return of the Jiggs Dinner at Fulton Lodge

We are pleased to announce the return of our annual Jiggs Dinner on Tuesday, March 15 after a two year hiatus.  Dinner will be 6:00pm, dress is casual. After dinner, we are going to screen a copy of TerraMasonic: Around the World in 80 Lodges. There are no Masonic secrets in this film, it is open to everyone, so I do hope you bring your spouse or significant other along.  It is also a great evening to bring an friends who you think might be interested in the craft. As usual, plan on dinner to be around $10/person to cover costs.  RSVPs ARE A MUST and are due in by March 4.

You can see the trailer for the documentary here: http://terramasonica.com/

I hope you find it as exciting and intriguing as I did.

Artistic Prints of Fulton Lodge Temple Available for Purchase

A Lodge brother and past master, W.B. Don Gerdes, has commissioned local artist Becca Brehm in Delta to create a handsome print of our lodge building.  These matted prints are available for purchase either in an acetate sleeve for $25 or framed for $40. The overall dimension is 8in x 10in with matting.  The print is based on a historic photo of Fulton Lodge from the early 1900s.  Proceeds from the sale of these prints will go towards our Lodge's Historic Marker Fund. Please contact the secretary of Fulton Lodge if you are interested in purchasing one of these amazingly detailed prints (secretary@fultonlodge.org).

Note: if you need us to mail it, we'll let you know the estimated postage.

W.B. Timothy M. Churchill

Brothers, it is with a heavy heart that I bring the news of the passing of Worshipful Brother Timothy M. Churchill of Fulton Lodge 248.  With 54 years of service, Tim has been our secretary for the lodge for over 30 years. I do not have any further information on Masonic Services, but wanted to make you all aware as most knew he was having health challenges. We will provide information regarding services as soon as we have it.

Calling all Masonic Ham Radio Operators!

This contest is still very much in the early planning stages, but the brothers of Fulton Lodge 248 have marked a date they want to attempt this on. September 25, 2021 will be the first ever (that we know of) Masonic Lodges on the Air contest, a.k.a. CQ More Light!

The goal is simple, activate (e.g., set up a temporary HAM Radio station and antenna) as many Masonic Lodges as possible and try to log a QSO/Contact with them.  More rules and scoring will be forthcoming, but for now, know that the date for this is intended to be the Saturday of (or immediately following) the Autumnal Equinox. You do not need to be a Freemason to participate in this contest, in fact, we would encourage any Masonic Lodge to open their doors (or property) to host an event with local HAMs or maybe even coordinate an Open House for the same day.

Keep checking back as we expand into Social Media and provide further content related to the upcoming contest.
