Wellington 127 hosted a More Light event on May 22, 2016, where the featured three very large degree tapestries painted by Archibald McNeil Willard, known for his painting titled “Spirit of ’76” and a Mason raised in that Lodge. The tapestries are truly immense, about 8×10 feet in size. The brothers of the lodge, along with the local Museum and historical society, put together a wealth of information on the history of these paintings and the efforts to preserve them.
